Sturm played 47 games for the Sharks this season, scoring seven goals and six assists. Sturm played 184 games for San Jose starting from the 2022-23 season.
He was a solid penalty killer and chipped in offense when he had the opportunity. Sturm is an elite face-off man who can kill penalties, which Flordia will utilize heavily in the postseason again.
