For the Edmonton Oilers, having players move on to other organizations hasn’t panned out as expected. Dylan Holloway has found a new level of production with the St. Louis Blues. The 23-year-old forward has now scored 20-goals with his new team.

So, it’s safe to say that things are going well for him.

Things are going well for defender Philip Broberg too. The 23-year-old left-handed defender has recorded 21 points in 49 games while playing 20 minutes a night. But a great offensive season is not the only thing going right for the young Swede.

Broberg and his significant other, Nellie Skinner are expecting a baby. In a joint Instagram post published on Monday, the couple shared a picture of three Polaroid pictures. One was of an ultrasound, another was a picture of Nellie sporting a baby bump, and the final one was the Polaroid beside a jersey with the number 6 on the back along with the name, “Pappa.”

The caption on the post reads, “we’re adding a rookie to our team! Baby Broberg coming soon.”

Being a professional hockey player is one thing, but being a father is a whole new ballgame. It’s great to see the young Swede have more than one good thing going for him.

The change of scenery for Holloway and Broberg has been arguably the best transaction for the Blues this past summer.

For at least one of them, it’s brought a lot more than just career success.
