Del Gaizo has 12 points (8 goals, 4 assists) in 30 games for the Admirals in 2024-25, and his eight goals on the year are a career high. Del Gaizo has appeared in 21 games for the Predators this season, averaging 15:39 of ice time with three assists and 28 shots on goal.

Originally selected by the Predators in the fourth round (109th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft, Del Gaizo made his NHL debut with Nashville in 2023-24 and has six points (all assists) and a +2 rating in 30 career NHL games.

Del Gaizo’s recall comes in the wake of the upper-body injury to Predators captain Roman Josi, who exited Tuesday’s loss to the Florida Panthers after taking a big hit from Panthers forward Sam Bennett late in the second period. Head coach Andrew Brunette said at Thursday’s morning skate that Josi’s injury is still being evaluated and that he is considered day-to-day.

The puck drops between the Predators and the Jets Thursday at 7 p.m. CT at Bridgestone Arena.
