Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth has extended his contract until the end of the 2026 season.
The new deal will see the 37-year-old, who has scored 14,737 first class runs, including 37 centuries, through 20 seasons with the Headingley side.
He made seven Test appearances for England in the summer of 2015.
“I love representing Yorkshire and take immense pride every time I step on the field with the guys,” he said.
“We have a very talented squad, and I am convinced that we will thrive this year against the best opposition.”
The veteran scored 1,215 runs last season, his third best return in first-class cricket, to help the White Rose win promotion back to Division One of the County Championship.
They start the new season on 4 April with an away game against Hampshire.
