The first three PGA Tour events in 2025 were on Golf Channel. CBS took over with the main weekend coverage of the next four weeks.
Now, it’s NBC’s turn.
The network makes its 2025 debut this Saturday with third-round coverage of the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld. It’s the first of seven straights weeks of NBC being the over-the-air broadcaster of the PGA Tour. Golf Channel will continue to have the first- and second-round coverage as well as early round coverage on the weekends. Peacock, the streaming service, will have NBC’s coverage simulcast on the weekends, as well.
After those seven weeks, CBS takes over again, but NBC will televise five more tournaments in 2025: two majors and the three playoff events.

Who’s on the air for NBC in 2025?
Dan Hicks returns as the host of the live golf on NBC, with Kevin Kisner joining him as lead analyst. Kisner is slotted to play in the Cognizant, and will trade in the golf clubs for the TV mic as needed, depending on how he plays.
Terry Gannon and Steve Sands will also get some play-by-play reps in 2025. The analyst team of Notah Begay, Brad Faxon and Curt Byrum returns, with Jim “Bones” Mackay back on the fairways as the on-course reporter. Damon Hack will be back for those key interview segments as well.
At the 2025 Players Championship, veterans Roger Maltbie and Gary Koch return to TV at TPC Sawgrass. Koch will also work the Valspar Championship.
Also, the popular Smylie Kaufman segment “Happy Hour” returns and will be a part of each of the next seven weeks. In addition, Kaufman will work as an on-course reporter.
