The 2025 NHL trade deadline is less than a month away. The Philadelphia Flyers are still rebuilding their roster, so they could be quite busy over the next few weeks.

The Flyers have already made one big splash, trading Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost to the Calgary Flames last month. Which other Flyers have the potential to be moved? Let’s go over three potential Flyers trade candidates now.
Scott Laughton
Scott Laughton has been a popular player in the rumor mill this season, just like last year. The 30-year-old center is the perfect target for contenders looking to add a third-line center who plays a heavy game and kills penalties. Thus, there should be plenty of interest in the 2012 first-round pick.

The Flyers value Laughton greatly, so it would likely take a significant offer for them to part ways with their alternate captain. He also has another year left on his contract after this one, so the Flyers don’t need to rush a move. However, if a team is willing to give up at least a first-round pick, it is fair to wonder if we could see him dealt.
Rasmus Ristolainen
Like Laughton, Rasmus Ristolainen is viewed as a top trade candidate in the NHL. The 30-year-old blueliner is having a solid season with the Flyers, posting two goals, 15 points, 83 hits, 85 blocks, and a plus-3 rating in 54 games.

Playoff teams looking for size and to improve their right side will likely be in the mix, as Ristolainen is one of the best right-shot defensemen potentially available.

Andrei Kuzmenko
Andrei Kuzmenko may be a newcomer for the Flyers, but he has already begun creating chatter in the rumor mill again. In his latest trade board for Sportsnet, NHL insider Nick Kypreos reported that the Flyers are “likely to quickly flip Kuzmenko” by the deadline.

Kuzmenko, 29, is a pending unrestricted free agent, so he could be a trade chip if the Flyers end up not seeing him as a fit in their system. If he is made available, teams looking for help in their middle six could consider taking a chance on the former 74-point forward.
