Can anyone catch Thomas Detry?
That’s the story heading into the final round of the 2025 WM Phoenix Open, where the 32-year-old Belgian has a five-shot lead to begin Sunday. Detry sits at 18 under for the week, though there are plenty of notables trying to chase him down.
Jordan Spieth, in his second start since returning from wrist surgery, is in the group at T-2 and 13 under, along with Daniel Berger, Rasmus Hojgaard and Michael Kim.
Detry has a comfortable advantage, but at TPC Scottsdale, there’s plenty of birdie opportunities on the back nine, and Detry will have to survive his nerves on the stadium hole to prevail for the first time.
