Super Bowl LIX takes place in New Orleans on February 9, with kickoff slated for 3:30 pm PT. The championship game will see the Kansas City Chiefs look to three-peat in a rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles, who they took on in 2023. In a TikTok posted by @Canucks, the Vancouver Canucks made their picks for which team will win the Vince Lombardi Trophy this year. Here’s which members of the team voted for which team.

Last Year’s Selections
Before we get into this year’s selections, let’s take a look at last year’s player picks for which team would be going to the Super Bowl. Notably, Noah Juulsen selected the Chiefs. He wasn’t the only player to select one of last year’s conference champions, however, as Brock Boeser, Pius Suter, Teddy Blueger, Elias Pettersson, and assistant coaches Adam Foote and Yogi Švejkovský picked the San Francisco 49ers. Sergei Gonchar picked the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as former Canucks Sam Lafferty and J.T. Miller. Canucks Head Coach Rick Tocchet, Conor Garland, and current Boston Bruins defender Nikita Zadorov picked the Baltimore Ravens. Dakota Joshua and Ian Cole picked the Detroit Lions, Nils Åman picked the Miami Dolphins, and Tyler Myers and Carson Soucy picked the Buffalo Bills.
Now, let’s take a look at this year’s picks.
Kansas City Chiefs
Five Canucks voted for the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl this year, including Kevin Lankinen, Quinn Hughes, Derek Forbort, and Linus Karlsson. Soucy also confessed that he thinks that Kansas City will win, but specified that “hopefully the Eagles” will take the victory.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles were the more-popular pick with the team if Soucy’s vote is included, as five players and one coach picked them to win. Aside from Soucy, Philadelphia was also selected by Juulsen, Pettersson, Jake DeBrusk, and Myers, who wanted to pick “someone new this year.” Tocchet took the question a step farther, not only picking the Eagles, but also providing a score prediction of 31–27.
“I Don’t Watch Football So I Don’t Know”
Two players chose not to pick a winning team due to a lack of knowledge — Nils Höglander and Elias Pettersson (D).
Denver Broncos
Staying local to the city that he played in as a member of the Colorado Avalanche during his 20-year NHL career, Foote didn’t pick either team competing for the Super Bowl on Sunday, instead choosing the Denver Broncos. While they made the playoffs this year, the Broncos ultimately lost 31–7 to the Bills during the NFL Wild Card round.
