Andrae, 22, last played with the Flyers during Dec. 19’s contest against the Los Angeles Kings. The 2020 second-round pick showed signs of breaking out with the Flyers before being sent down to the AHL. In 20 games this season with Philly, he has one goal, five points, and a plus-3 rating.
Down in the AHL with the Phantoms this season, Andrae has two goals and nine points. This includes five points in his last five games.
As for Gaucher, he has been a nice surprise for the Phantoms this season. After posting eight goals and 16 points in 59 games last season with the AHL squad, he already has 14 goals and 27 points in 44 games this campaign.
Gaucher’s improved play is why he earned an NHL entry-level contract with the Flyers back in December. Now, he is getting his first opportunity on the NHL roster.
