Dallas Stars Recall Kyle Capobianco From Texas

The Dallas Stars have recalled defenseman Kyle Capobianco from the Texas Stars, it was announced Thursday.

Capobianco, a product of Mississauga, Ont., is in his first season with the Stars organization where he has collected two goals and 26 assists for 28 points in 35 games.

Drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the third round of the 2015 NHL Draft, Capobianco has played for the Coyotes and Winnipeg Jets, putting up 12 points in 73 career regular season games.

Having proven to be one of the better offensive defensemen in the AHL, Capobianco is solid depth for any organization to have. With the Stars taking on the Vancouver Canucks Friday, Capobianco has the chance to draw in, where he could be relied upon to play any role required.
