Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes has been named to EA Sports NHL 25’s Team of the Year. Hughes is one of four defensemen to receive the honour, joining Cale Makar, Erin Ambrose and Megan Keller. Hughes, along with all the Team of the Year winners, will receive a new HUT card that is now available in the game.

2024 was a remarkable year for Hughes. He recorded 74 assists and 89 points in 80 games while leading the Canucks to their first postseason berth since 2020. Hughes also became the first player in franchise history to win the Norris Trophy while securing 172 of the 194 votes available.
The NHL 25 Team of the Year features many talented players. The final list includes 12 players, split evenly between the NHL and PWHL. Below is a list of this year’s winners.
