Marvin Vettori will return after nearly two years away from the octagon to give Roman Dolidze a shot at redemption.
Former UFC title challenger Vettori (19-7-1 MMA, 9-5-1 UFC) will rematch Dolidze (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) in the UFC Fight Night 254 main event March 15 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas (ESPN+). Two people with knowledge of the matchup informed MMA Junkie of the booking following an initial report from X user @MagicM_MMABets.
The first meeting between the pair took place at UFC 286 in March 2023, with Vettori earning a unanimous decision victory. The Italian has only competed once since then with a brutal loss to Jared Cannonier in June 2023.
Dolidze is 2-1 since his first encounter with Vettori with wins over0 Kevin Holland and Anthony Smith in 2024 following a loss to Nassourdine Imavov.
Vettori, 31, and Dolidze, 36, only had three rounds to handle business in their first matchup, but will have five rounds to deal with in the rematch.
