The Vegas Golden Knights provided health updates for Cole Schwindt and Brett Howden today.
Howden has an illness. Not sure if he’ll travel on the trip. Karlsson maintenance day.
Schwindt is week-to-week (lower body).

Schwindt is listed as week-to-week after sustaining a lower-body injury against the Chicago Blackhawks on Jan. 18. He did not participate in last night’s game but had recorded seven assists in the 38 games he played before that.
The 23-year-old was continuing to become more confident playing in a bottom six role and brought versatility that the Golden Knights will miss for however long he is out. Schwindt can play on the wing or at center which allows Nicolas Roy to freely move up and down the line.

Howden is dealing with an illness and his participation in the team’s upcoming two-game road trip is in jeopardy. The 26-year-old scored his 16th goal of the season last night against the St. Louis Blues, continuing his breakout campaign. The Golden Knights will be hoping he can travel with the team due to his ability to play in every scenario.
He’s been great at even strength and has been a consistent penalty killer. The Blues and Dallas Stars won’t be easy matchups for the Golden Knights and with their poor play as of late, they’ll need all hands on deck.

William Karlsson did not practice today and HC Bruce Cassidy claimed it to be a “maintenance day.” On multiple occasions, including once with Karlsson, the team has called a player’s absence maintenance and they have gone on to miss multiple games.
The Golden Knights are back in action on Thursday for a rematch against the Blues and then on Friday for the second half of a back-to-back against the Stars.
