Kraken Hoping To Snap Losing Streak With Road Battle Against Sabres

The Seattle Kraken have lost four consecutive games and are hoping to change their fortune with a win on the road against the Buffalo Sabres.

Last time out, the Kraken were thrashed 6-2 by the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Kraken were nodded at 1-1 after the first period but four unanswered goals by the Blue Jackets in the second period put the game out of reach.

Offensively, times have been tough. The previous three games have seen the Kraken unable to score more than two goals and their prior shootout loss to the Vancouver Canucks saw them score just three goals.

The Sabres, who had once lost 13 straight games this season, have seen some positive change recently, winning back-to-back games against the Washington Capitals and the Ottawa Senators. Despite the wins, they remain towards the bottom of the NHL standings and are league average or below league average in many key statistics.

The two clubs entered the 2024-25 campaign with aspirations of making the playoffs but if the halfway point of the season is any indication, they are increasingly likely to fall very short of their goal.

Kraken projected lines:
